(Surah 2:26)
While humans are commanded to contemplate himself as a creation of God, the Qur’an often also invites people to investigate nature and see the evidence and signs of God’s power to him. The entire universe with all the elements of both life and non-life consists of signs that reveal that they all had ‘created’. And they exist to show untuuk Power, Science and Art of the ‘Creator’. And humans are responsible to know these signs and recognize the Supreme Pencipat, Allah SWT. All living things have these signs, but there are some animals that are specifically mentioned in the Qur’an. Mosquitoes are one of them. This is mentioned in the Qur’an the following:
Verily Allah does not hesitate to make the parable of mosquitoes or lower than that. As for those who believe, they believe that it is the truth from their Lord, but those who disbelieve say: “Does God mean by this parable?”. In the parable many people misled by God, and with the parable (too) many people who gave the instructions. And there is no God except that misled those who rebel, (Surah 2:26)
When we observe the life of the mosquito, we can say that the mosquito has a remarkable adventure. What is generally known about mosquitoes is is that they absorb and blood meal. But this was not entirely correct. Because not all mosquitoes, but only the female mosquitoes suck blood alone. And the need for blood has nothing to do with food. Actually, both male and female mosquitoes feed on nectar of flowers fluids. ? The only reason why female mosquitoes, unlike the males, suck blood is to telurnya.yang need to develop the protein in the blood. In other words, female mosquitoes only suck blood to ensure the viability of new generation.
Point is stressed here is that verse from the Koran to show only the mosquitoes ‘female’. As mentioned earlier, only female mosquitoes that have superior kemempuan which are described in detail here. Thus, we find so expressive that mosquitoes betinanyalah stressed in the Qur’an. In addition, this is a remarkable fact we prove that when the revelation of the Qur’an, this knowledge has not been known to mankind.
