Anda diundang menghadiri acara reuni atau pesta pernikahan seorang teman. Di acara itu si mantan dipastikan akan hadir juga. Tak peduli lama atau tidaknya sejak Anda berpisah, bertemu dengan mantan pacar sering kali membuat hati penasaran. Adakah si dia masih seganteng dulu atau siapakah wanita yang kini menggantikan Anda.
Terkadang, bertemu dengan si mantan diperlukan keberanian khusus, apalagi bila setelah putus darinya Anda masih juga menyandang predikat single. Ikuti tips berikut ini agar pertemuan Anda dengan si mantan berjalan lancar.
- Gunakan busana andalan
Jangan berdandan seadanya, kenakan busana yang selalu berhasil membuat Anda terlihat menarik.
“Sudah setahun saya tidak bertemu dengan si mantan dan ia akan datang ke pernikahan sahabat kami. Meski kami berpisah baik-baik, tapi saya tetap mempersiapkan diri agar terlihat cantik. - Lupakan masa lalu
Persiapkan topik obrolan yang ringan sehingga Anda tidak terjebak pada pembicaraan seputar hubungan Anda dengannya. Bila Anda malah sibuk mengungkit atau bercanda tentang masa lalu, bisa jadi si dia akan merasa Anda masih berharap untuk kembali padanya. Yang lalu, biarlah berlalu.
- Percaya diri
Kumpulkan rasa percaya diri sebelum Anda bertemu dengannya. Tentu Anda tak ingin terlihat merana karena ditinggalkan si mantan kan? Ingatlah hal-hal menyenangkan yang telah Anda lakukan tanpanya dan selipkan hal itu saat berbincang dengannya. Anda akan terlihat bahagia dan tak membutuhkannya.
- Ingat alasan putus
Saat melihat si dia masih seganteng dulu mungkin dada akan berdebar kencang dan muncul keinginan untuk kembali. Tapi, sebelum harapan terlalu besar, ingatlah mengapa dulu Anda memutuskan hubungan dengannya. Pikirkan kembali apakah Anda ingin kembali ke situasi seperti itu lagi?
- Jangan pamer
Bila Anda adalah pihak yang memutuskan, sebaiknya hindari menyebutkan tentang pacar baru Anda. Bila ia bertanya, katakan saja semua berjalan baik, lalu alihkan pembicaraan.
